My man Mo. Billionaire sure knows how to pick ‘em. A few years ago, I was booking an after party to Memphis in May and wanted to do a big multi-DJ night. He went on and on about this DJ-duo out of Chicago that he promised would be stars. That duo was none other thanFlosstradamus and no sooner than 1 year after my party, URB anointed them “The Next 100” with a cover story.
Well, the Billionaire is at it again and so am I. While booking this year’s Thanksgiving night jump-off, Mo. B suggested that I take a peak at Million Dollar Mano. The Chicago-based producer/DJ wunderkind is making quite a name for himself producing for Kanye West’s GOOD music label artist GLC, Mic Terror, Hollywood Holt and touring with Shawnna. In fact, URB recently covered Mano and the red-hot Chicago underground (soon-to-be above ground) scene. It’s on newsstands now if you want to check it out.
